PROJECT DATA
- This new 67,000-square-foot elementary school will accommodate
approximately 300 students in grades K - 6.
- The beautiful modern building features the latest in playground
amenities, energy saving systems and a state-of-the art gym.
- The architecture features mirror the pueblo's culture.
- The project was designed and constructed to meet LEED standards
and many sustainable design practices are evident in the school,
all used as opportunities to teach the students about energy
conservation and care in using the earth's resources.
- This project was achieved using a design-build fast-track
process allowing for a school opening earlier that would otherwise
have been possible and also providing savings in construction
costs.
