Flintco began business in 1908. Since then, Flintco has grown, capabilities, and the market sectors we serve. We enjoy a rich history, documented in a recent timeline developed as part of our centennial celebration.

Q. How many employees does Flintco have?
Flintco has more than 550 employees in seven operating units across the United States.

The corporate office provides support functions for marketing, human resources, training, and safety to optimize efficiency. Area offices are responsible for jobsite project quality and obtaining new business.

Q. How does Flintco promote diversity among its workforce?

Q. Does Flintco recruit on college and other school campuses?
Yes, when it comes to recruiting, it's definitely "back to school" for Flintco. In addition to supporting two-year and four-year college level construction programs, Flintco is active in high school and vocational school-to-work programs. Q. Does Flintco offer educational assistance to employees?
Yes. All regular full-time salaried employees who have completed three years of service are eligible to apply for assistance. Approved work-related courses and programs leading to a diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate degree are eligible for reimbursement.

Q. Does Flintco offer a retirement plan?
Yes. Flintco's 401(k) plan features voluntary pre-tax savings and company contributions (Flintco provides a percentage company match for the employee). Under this plan, the employee may contribute as much as 75% of base wages.​

Q. Does Flintco regularly evaluate its employees for promotions, salary increases and other opportunities?
Yes. We conduct Performance Communications on an annual basis. Flintco will review specific project performance by each employee and reward exemplary achievements. We maintain such a highly successful workforce by maintaining a policy of promotion from within the Flintco ranks whenever possible.

Q. What is Flintco's dress code?
In the field, safety is always at the forefront of any dress requirements for construction management and crews, and we strictly adhere to all Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) requirements to promote a safe work site each and every Flintco construction project. In the Flintco office environment, business casual attire is the preferred style of dress.

Q. Does Flintco require its employees to travel?
Some positions and project assignments necessitate regular travel while others may require none at all. When considering a position with Flintco, the interview process will disclose how much travel is necessary.
