The Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma moved into their new building, the HardestyLeadership Center, on May 23.
The 30,000-square-foot facility at 4810 S. 129th E. Ave. houses the GSEOK offices, a meeting place for troops, volunteer and training rooms and a warehouse to store program equipment and Girl Scout cookies, according to Roberta D. Preston, GSEOK CEO.
A retail store will sell Girl Scout merchandise and a museum will tell the history of Girl Scouts and GSEOK.
Iconic Girl Scout symbols, such as the exterior “sash,” can be seen throughout the building, which was designed by Beck Design and constructed by Flintco.
