The Tulsa Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) recognized 16 organizations, corporations and public relations firms for their work in internal and external communications.
Flintco was among the companies honored, bringing home a Silver Link award for advertorial writing promoting its Native American scholarship program. Flintco produced a last minute advertisement coupled with editorial content to reach a larger audience for its college scholarship program geared toward Native American students. The advertorial helped Flintco increased the number of entries by 118% over the previous year by reaching a wider audience of students who had never before participated.
Flintco also took home an award of merit for its internal newsletter, Groundbreakers. This e-newsletter is distributed to Flintco's 550 employees across the U.S. and celebrates employee achievements, projects and living the Flintco Ethos.
The Silver Link Awards were judged by peers in public relations and communications in Michigan, and are the premier awards for public relations and communications work in Tulsa.
