  • Since 1925, the University of Arkansas’ Rice Research and Extension Center (RREC) has conducted research on rice and rotation crops such as soybean and wheat. Each year, several hundred acres of rice, soybean and wheat are produced for seed and processed at their seed drying, cleaning and bagging facility. This new processing facility will aid the RREC in these research efforts.
  • This project is helping the research center increase their market share and modernize equipment and processes with 22,000 square feet of new building construction, including the seed processing facility and two greenhouses.
  • Additionally, we constructed seed storage silos and 2,600 square feet of roadway
