- Flintco constructed and installed a 4.2-million-gallon steel thermal energy storage tank with a 9,000-square-foot base and a 15-footwide road around the tank.
- Additional work associated with the TES tank included site work, drilled piers, structural slab, insulation systems, guardrail to protect the tank, tapings for piping, and controls for filling and testing.
- This project is part of an energy efficiency initiative. With the completion of this project, the owner has one of the most cost-effective and economical central heating and power district energy plants in the world.
