Kingwood Branch Library Renovation

30,000 SF renovation of demolition, installation, and replacement after the first floor flooded due to Hurricane Harvey floodwaters in Houston. Flintco completely gutted the first floor to remove all water and potential mold. There was a mass installation of new floors, walls, restrooms, kitchen, and millwork. Additional renovations included installation of new chillers, pumps, pot feeder, expansion tanks, air separators, VFDs, and piping in chiller yard. The downstairs library now has a new bookstore, book return, computer lab, children’s activity area, movie and bookshelves, and meeting space areas.
