About Us

Our Team

The Alberici Flintco team brings more than a century of construction management experience to our work in Central Texas. Together with our design partners ARUP and the Lawrence Group, we will help the Austin Transit Partnership create a world-class Operations and Maintenance Facility to keep Austin moving.

Transportation Infrastructure
Our team understands the unique demands of transit facilities, the precision required for rail maintenance bays, the operational flow that keeps vehicles in service, and the 24/7 reliability that cities depend on.

This is what we’re focused on with the ATP OMF project:

  • Maximizing operational efficiency
  • Providing long-term adaptability
  • Supporting both current operations and future system expansion

Safety Drives Everything We Do
By exhibiting true care and concern for people, for our environment, and by staying engaged and connected to those around us, we continue to build trust among our teams. That mindset and behavior produces a superior outcome for our people and our clients by delivering a substantially safer work environment for everyone in our care. Flintco has continued to innovate, lead, and improve around safety. We will never settle for “good enough.”

We build what matters in Austin. From transforming the historic Seaholm Power Plant into a vibrant mixed-use destination, delivering the flagship George H.W. Bush building on the Capitol Mall to The Modern Austin Residences, we take on projects that shape how people experience our city. We manage all facets of construction from preconstruction through completion, whether through construction management, design-build, or general contracting. We use Lean principles to eliminate waste and deliver exactly what our clients need. We’ve earned trust on projects that demand precision—like restoring the Texas Capitol, where every detail honors both history and function. These aren’t just construction projects to us; they’re investments in Austin’s future, and we treat them that way. Although our hearts are in Austin, we have global reach. Our team has worked on transportation and Progressive Design-Build projects ranging from Union Station Enhancement Project in Canada to the Long Baseline Neutrino Facility in Lead, South Dakota.

Our Experience

Union Station Enhancement Project

Flintco

Alliance Agreement. The Union Station Enhancement Project (USEP) will play a pivotal role in in bringing faster, more frequent GO service to core segments of the GO rail network. Our team is a member of the ONTrack Alliance, who is currently upgrading the historic 1927 train station to support the creation of a network that has the capacity to deliver two-way, all-day service every 15 minutes or better along core segments of the GO rail network. Improvements to Union Station are being completed in phases as part of GO Expansion and will allow for approximately 80 trains per hour – quadruple the current level – to move through the station

Eglinton Crosstown West LRT

ARUP

The project, an historic investment by the provincial and federal governments in infrastructure and transit expansion in the Greater Toronto Area, is being delivered with Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario. The line will operate mainly underground, with an elevated guideway that will cross the Humber River. Seven new stations, four underground, two elevated, and one open-cut (built in a trench), will also be constructed.

Long Baseline Neutrino Facility

Progressive Design-Build. Pre-excavation for LBNF project including reopening ore passes, reinforcing Ross Headframe, rebuilding tramway tunnel and conveyor, and mucking 1,700 CY underground at 4850 Level.

Public Service Complex

Flintco | Lawrence Group

Design-Build. The new 131,800 SF Public Services Complex for the City of San Marcos included construction of three pre-engineered metal buildings & two conventional steel buildings as well as foundations, site work, utilities, and concrete paving. The complex was comprised of administration offices, crew building, maintenance, warehouse/storage, wash bay, enclosed parking, and vehicle storage canopies. Solar panels were installed on the Utility and Warehouse buildings (1278 Trina 400 Modules)(360 KW Solar Array). This project required extensive coordination with our fleet equipment provider and the City of San Marcos for the re-location of their existing equipment to ensure that there were no installation gaps for the proper utilities & to ensure placement of such equipment was in the correct location(s).

CPS New Service Center

Flintco | Lawrence Group

New service center for CPS to include administrative building, warehouse, and fleet maintenance building with fuel station.

Fulton Center

ARUP

Arup was lead consultant for the $1.4B Fulton Center project, providing overall planning and project management, engineering, and risk advice to MTA New York City Transit. The overall work involved a number of distinct sub-projects: construction of the main transit centre building, rehabilitation of four existing stations, construction of an underground pedestrian concourse and connections to two other stations. Street-level access to the subway was also improved through new entrances in the historic 19th Century Corbin building, which was restored. Fulton Center now provides easy access and transfers between 10 subway lines and six stations, including those serving the World Trade Center site. The station was designed in accordance with the New York State Governor’s Executive Order 111. It was one of the first transit centers in the United States to seek certification under the LEED system and the first MTA subway station facility to be awarded a LEED certification.

California High Speed Rail

ARUP

In April 2023, the California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) selected the joint venture of Foster + Partners and Arup to design the Merced, Fresno, Kings/Tulare, and Bakersfield stations on the initial 171-mile segment and establish a station identity for their overall system. The design, construction, and operation of the Central Valley stations will set a new standard for sustainable, decarbonized passenger rail facilities. Equally important, from the start of the design, through building and moving passengers through the stations, the diverse communities of California will participate in the economic growth and unmatched mobility provided by high-speed rail.
