Flintco was once again recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors as a Top Performer and a National Safety Excellence Award recipient at the recent 33rd Annual National Excellence in Construction Awards in Orlando, FL. Because of our people, we continue to lead our industry in creating a safe work environment for everyone entrusted to our care. While it is always gratifying to be recognized by our peers, and we should take time to acknowledge our achievement, we must never grow complacent when it comes to our Flintco 4 LIFE journey. This is not the first time Flintco has achieved a similar safety milestone (2011/2014/2018), and with our continued diligence and dedication, I’m sure it won’t be the last! Thank you to everyone for keeping safety top of mind and living the spirit of our Ethos each day: “I believe that mediocrity is unacceptable and my training is never done – there is no finish line.” The Excellence Award was given to just eight general contractors nationally based on “exceptional safety performance and world-class leadership commitment to safety, a culture of safety that is embraced and espoused by all company employees, and systems and processes in place that address and eliminate hazards before incidents occur, resulting in a world-class safety program.” Thank you to Construction Director Dave Kenney (DEN), Senior Project Manager Matt Dobson (AR), and HSE Manager Juan Martinez (TUL) for accepting the award on our behalf.
