Manvel Police Department Celebrates Milestone with Topping Out Ceremony for New Station

The City of Manvel marked a significant milestone today with the topping out ceremony of its new state-of-the-art police station. This event celebrated the completion of the structural phase for the 45,000-square-foot facility.

The ceremony, a long-standing construction industry tradition, celebrated the building reaching its maximum height and honored the workers’ achievements. This event represents a substantial step forward for the City of Manvel and demonstrates its unwavering commitment to community safety and well-being. Representatives from PGAL Dally, and various trade partners attended the event. The ceremony included a beam signing, with the signed beam set in place and the American and Texas flags prominently displayed.
Flintco, the project’s general contractor, has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to building excellence throughout the construction process. Their partnership with the City of Manvel has been instrumental in bringing this vision to life.

“Flintco is honored to be part of this transformative project for the City of Manvel. This new police station is more than just a building; it symbolizes the community’s commitment to public safety and progress,” said Flintco Project Director Kendra Santa.

The new police station, part of a $35 million city-wide infrastructure investment, will feature cutting-edge technology for enhanced law enforcement capabilities, modern amenities for officers and staff, temporary animal housing kennels, a spacious community meeting area, and a fully equipped Emergency Operations Center. The strategic design focuses on operational efficiency, ensuring the facility will serve the department and community for the next 50 years, accommodating Manvel’s rapid growth and evolving law enforcement needs.
