Flintco Completes Lamar CISD’s New Transportation Center #3

Rosenberg, TX – Flintco has completed construction of Lamar Consolidated Independent School District’s new Transportation Center #3, a 29-acre facility designed to help students get to school safely and on time each day.

Located off Highway 36 near Highway 59, the new center provides a modern home base for Lamar ISD’s growing bus fleet. The facility includes maintenance bays equipped to keep buses running smoothly, a fueling station with 20,000 gallons of storage to support daily routes, and a vehicle wash system to ensure the fleet is clean and well-maintained. Covered parking for 200 buses offers protection from the elements, while administrative offices bring district transportation staff together under one roof.

The success of the transportation center is the result of strong coordination between Lamar ISD, ERO Architects, IN2 Architecture, and trade partners, who worked together to streamline the schedule and deliver a facility built to meet the district’s long-term needs.

As the district continues to grow, Transportation Center #3 will ensure that thousands of students have safe, reliable transportation to and from school, an essential part of their educational journey.
