Kyle Benson

Kyle brings a deep passion for people and renewable energy to his role as Director of Engineering for Flintco Renewable Energy.

His career in the solar industry began in Atlanta, where he was involved in the design and construction of more than 700 KW of solar PV for the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, before moving to Denver in 2017 to embrace larger-scale projects. With a decade of experience, Kyle has worked on a diverse range of solar projects, from residential to 500 MW utility scale projects.

Kyle’s commitment to clean energy and his compassionate approach toward team management underscores his belief in the positive impact of renewable energy on society and the planet. He believes strongly in the need for clean, renewable energy for the future of both the country and humanity. He is motivated daily by the opportunity to make an impact in an industry he cares deeply about. “The opportunity to make an impact in an industry that I care about drives and motivates me every day,” he said.

Kyle pursued a degree in Appropriate Technology at Appalachian State University, a program tailored towards renewable energy sectors. Kyle and his wife, Kelsey, spoil their two dogs, Arya and Pippin. Kyle is an avid cyclist and enjoys backpacking and hiking in the Denver area.
