Shawn Mangan

Shawn Mangan brings more than 20 years of experience to his role as Director of Business Development at Flintco Renewable Energy. His work includes identifying and originating PV solar and energy storage opportunities for his clients as well as leveraging the full capabilities of EPC within an organization. In 1987, he started as a buyer in a procurement group, and in 2011, he began developing renewable energy projects, holding leadership positions for several renewable energy companies.  Shawn said what he likes most about his work at Flintco Renewable Energy is “the people and the chance to collaborate. There is nothing routine about this business!”

Shawn grew up outside of Philadelphia and graduated from Temple University with a Political Science degree. But his passion was rugby having played well into his thirties. He said he was drawn to the sport’s unique ethos: Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. He remains an avid Rugby fan. He shares that passion with his love of vintage automobiles and racing, especially Formula One, sailing, and is a self-described “animal advocate.” A fan of seventies rock and roll, Shawn follows a personal philosophy about music: “Life is too short not to have a good playlist.”
