Flintco Selected to Build Sodern America’s First U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Englewood, Colorado

Lone Tree, Colorado – February 23, 2026

Flintco has been selected to construct the new U.S. headquarters and manufacturing facility for Sodern America in Englewood, Colorado — marking the company’s first permanent foothold in the United States. Established in January 2026, Sodern America, a subsidiary of ArianeGroup and a recognized leader in star trackers and space cameras, extends Sodern’s global reach. With more than 2,000 star trackers currently in orbit, over 1,000 satellites equipped with its technology, and a 100% mission success rate, Sodern supports major space organizations including NASA, Lockheed Martin, and Blue Origin.

The 14,000-square-foot facility will include a state-of-the-art cleanroom designed for the assembly, integration, and testing of the Auriga star tracker — a compact, high-performance navigation instrument used in commercial, civil, and national security space missions. The building will also provide testing capabilities for the Hydra star tracker, built for high-performance satellites, along with a showroom and demonstration space to support customer engagement.

“This project showcases Flintco’s ability to deliver sophisticated, high-performance environments where precision is critical,” said J.W. Stamison, Vice President and Area Manager for Flintco. “Our team brings extensive experience in cleanroom and advanced manufacturing construction, and we are proud to partner with Sodern as they establish their first U.S. facility here in Colorado.”

The Sodern America Manufacturing project further strengthens Flintco’s regional presence, highlighting its expertise in delivering complex, highly technical, precision-driven facilities while reinforcing its commitment to advancing aerospace innovation and advanced manufacturing across the region.
