George H.W. Bush State Office Building
The 14-story, 1.25 million SF, George H. W. Bush State Office Building, which includes 603,000 SF of office and 1,665 parking spaces above ground and below grade, stands at the gateway to the reimagined Texas Capitol Complex. The massive public project started in 2018 with seven construction packages released by the Texas Facilities Commission – Flintco was awarded the flagship building, Package 4 – with three other general contractors, a site services engineer, multiple subconsultants, and a construction manager agent overseeing the overall campus project working together in proximity on an occupied and extremely active site.
