Harris County Sheriff's Office Annex

This facility includes over 65 specialized offices and an open-air office structure. The renovation consists of a 45,500 SF buildout and modernization of storage space to create a finished office annex with interview rooms, conference areas, and break rooms for investigators, recruiters, a high tech crime unit, and homeland security. The project covered nearly all facets of construction from excavation and underground utility piping, to concrete preparation and moisture mitigation. Exterior modernizations included a new polished masonry generator enclosure, industrial-looking metal panels, and a steel canopy over the main entrance along with a paved area and retaining wall equipped with two new flagpoles.

This project was recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Greater Houston and received the 2020 Excellence in Construction ICE Award for the Interior category.
