MD Anderson Campus Improvements

Flintco’s partnership with MD Anderson includes multiple projects. Flintco Installed a new lift station in an active MD Anderson acid waste and grease trap system, replaced internal duct mounted exhaust fans, replaced three existing emergency power generators with new generators. In addition Flintco completed a 50,000 SF project with several different facets. Flintco added two generators, one 7000 fuel tank and a new fuel control system and two new ATSs and associated gear to tie in the new generators. Another project consisted of a 3,200 SF of remodeling to create a stand-alone sterile processing area including instrument storage and clean supply functions to support the POE (Perioperative Enterprise) and associated functions in MD Anderson’s Lowry and Peggy Mays Clinic (Mays Clinic). Flintco also built an enclosed, 1,500-linear-foot pedestrian sky bridge elevated 50 feet above grade, a 50,000 SF renovation of Clark Clinic, and the replacement of a ¼-mile portion of Bates Street in the heart of the Texas Medical Center.
