Oklahoma State University Helmerich Advanced Technology Research Center

This project focused on the development of next generation research laboratories for industries such as aerospace, biotechnology, telecommunications and manufacturing. This 180,000-square-foot building houses up to 40 faculty and researchers and 100 graduate students. The research center contains specialized laboratories, a clean room, an imaging suite, advanced information technology equipment and offices. In addition, two high-tech seminar rooms available for international research conferences and special seminars were incorporated. The building is structural steel and concrete with a brick and composite aluminum veneer and a standing seam roof. This project is the winner of numerous awards including the Excellence in Construction Award given by the Associated Builders and Contractors and the Pyramid Award of Excellence in Construction by the National Associated Builders and Contractors.
