San Jacinto College Frels Building Renovation
The Central Campus Frels Building is a 67,971 SF building on (3) three floors, constructed in 1972. The scope includes the renovation of each floor and upgrades to all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire sprinkler systems to meet current code and accessibility standards. Other features are cosmetic and aesthetic improvements such as new flooring, new ceiling tiles, and painting. Reconfiguration of partitions, walls and support systems to provide the functionalities required to meet the educational programmatic needs of the Early College High School (ECHS) tenants. The scope also requires new medium voltage from the new generator/ATS to tie into the existing switchgear for emergency power.
