Blake Hixson

Blake Hixson brings more than seven years of experience in renewable energy and a deep passion for clean energy solutions to his role as Estimating Director at Flintco. With a strong background in estimating, preconstruction, and project development, Blake plays a key role in advancing Flintco’s mission to deliver innovative, sustainable energy projects.

Blake launched his career in renewables after earning a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He began in commercial HVAC before transitioning to the renewable energy sector at Signal Energy, where he honed his expertise in project estimation and preconstruction. Since then, Blake has helped deliver over 2 gigawatts of clean energy through a wide range of projects across the country.

Motivated by a vision of a cleaner energy future, Blake enjoys the challenge of solving the complex “puzzle” each renewable project presents. He thrives on collaboration – working closely with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to bring ambitious ideas to life.

Blake and his wife share their home with two cherished dogs who are treated like family. Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors, traveling to new destinations, and enjoys spending time with loved ones.
