Stephanie Tovar, Superintendent at Flintco in Austin, brings unique military and civilian construction expertise as a former Vertical Construction Engineer with two Afghanistan deployments. Her Clay Hunt Fellowship with Team Rubicon has provided extensive disaster response experience and FEMA training.
Her background in emergency first aid, combat safety training, and certifications in OSHA 30, confined space, and heights work ensures comprehensive safety practices. Her experience with multi-day backpacking and mountain climbing has prepared her for the physical demands of bridge construction in challenging conditions.
As Logistics Lead, Stephanie will keep the team organized, while fostering meaningful community connections. Her servant-leadership approach and photography skills will help the team capture technical achievements and human impact stories throughout the build.
