Our People

Daniel Oates

Project Development Senior Manager

A 23-year veteran of our operations in Austin, Daniel was originally an Eby employee when Flintco acquired the firm and established our presence in the great state of Texas. With a focus on technical and complex MEP projects in Central Texas during those years, Daniel also worked for two years in Mexicali, Mexico to build the multi-billion dollar Constellation Brewery.

Daniel was selected to participate in the inaugural cohort of Pillars, a leadership development program at Flintco. In 2016, he was honored by his peers with a Chairman’s Award for Leadership, the highest honor given at our firm, and was nominated with an honorable mention Chairman’s Award through Alberici during his project in Mexico.

Moving to project development in 2023, Daniel continues to provide leadership to industry and community groups. He serves on the ABC Central Texas Board of Directors as Assistant Vice Chair, on the membership committee for ULI Austin, and on the Board of Directors for UM ARMY RioTexas. Daniel also participated in Flintco’s 2024 Bridges to Prosperity trip, where a group of teammates built a 103M suspension bridge in Rwanda. He is a high school youth group sponsor at Manchaca United Methodist Church, and as a faithful Texas A&M graduate, a 30-year football season ticket holder in College Station.

Daniel and his wife have two children, one carrying on the family tradition and attending Texas A&M, while the other completes high school. Daniel loves to golf and fish and holds dear their annual family missions trip to serve those less fortunate.
