Blake Hixson

Blake Hixson brings over six years of experience in renewable energy and a passion for clean energy solutions to his role as Preconstruction Manager. His expertise in estimating and preconstruction supports Flintco’s mission to deliver innovative and sustainable energy projects.

Blake’s journey in the renewable sector began after earning his Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Early in his career, he transitioned from commercial HVAC systems into renewable energy at Signal Energy, where he honed his skills in estimating, preconstruction, and project development. Since then, Blake has contributed to delivering more than 2 gigawatts of clean energy, spanning diverse projects across the United States.

Inspired by a graduate-level course on renewable energy in college, Blake envisioned a future where clean energy plays a pivotal role in society. He finds great satisfaction in piecing together the intricate “puzzle” of renewable projects, collaborating with a network of subcontractors, vendors, and clients to bring these ambitious visions to life.

Blake’s commitment to Flintco was fueled by his strong professional connections with team members he previously collaborated with, and he is excited about the opportunity to help develop Flintco’s estimating department for renewable energy. “The chance to be part of this team again and help shape the future of the department is a milestone I’m thrilled to achieve,” Blake shared.

In his personal life, he’s engaged to his fiancée, with a wedding planned for May. Together, they share their home with two beloved dogs, who are treated like family. When he’s not working, Blake values spending time with his family in Tennessee.
