INTEGRIS Health and Flintco Celebrate the Ribbon Cutting of New State-of-the-Art Heart Hospital

Oklahoma City, OK, June 25, 2024 – INTEGRIS Health and Flintco recently held a special ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility designed to advance cardiac care in Oklahoma. The ceremony was attended by community leaders, physicians, hospital executives, and generous donors, commemorating a milestone achievement in advancing heart health care.

The INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital is the only institution in the state offering Oklahomans comprehensive advanced heart care, including LVAD, ECMO, total artificial heart, or heart and lung transplantation. It is a testament to INTEGRIS Health’s commitment to tackling Oklahoma’s heart disease crisis head-on, given that more Oklahomans die every year from heart disease than citizens of any other state.

Located on the campus of INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, the 209,000 square feet heart hospital is designed to prioritize patient care with 64 ICU beds, numerous cardiac catheterization labs, cardiovascular and hybrid operating rooms, electrophysiology heart labs and easily accessible cardiac diagnostic testing areas.

Designed with patient comfort and efficiency, the hospital and clinic layout enhance navigation ease. The INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital improves patient experience and convenience by centralizing all these specialized services in one location.

“The INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital addition signifies a new era in cardiac and patient care in Oklahoma,” said Kirk Mammen, Vice President and Area Manager of Flintco. “I applaud the vision and leadership of INTEGRIS Health to bring these enhanced services to our community. It has been our pleasure to work with INTEGRIS Health and the entire project team to deliver this world-class facility that will undoubtedly save lives and improve the quality of life for many Oklahomans.”

For over 26 years, INTEGRIS Health and Flintco have built a strong partnership, contributing more than $210 million of health care facilities to the Oklahoma community. This collaboration has resulted in a positive and lasting impact on the state’s health care environment. The commitment demonstrated by INTEGRIS Health in partnering with Flintco aligns with a shared mission – building structures that enhance communities.
