Bentonville Public Schools Ignite Remodel
Bentonville Public Schools Ignite Professional Studies project consisted of remodeling a 17,000-SF building. The roof and the entire interior of the office building, with the exception of the restrooms, were demolished and turned into a professional studies school building. Some of the features of the new building include a soundproof photography and video studio, editing booths, and custom ceiling tile clouds in a large collaboration area. The medical area includes five teaching labs replicating a hospital room, emergency room, Intensive Care Unit room, nursing home room and medical restroom. Every room in the building has an 8’ tall share wall for the students to collaborate their ideas.
The project was recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Arkansas and received the 2020 Excellence in Construction Eagle Award for the $1 million to $5 million Institutional K-12 category.
