Oklahoma Juvenile Affairs (OJA) Next Generation Facility

This design-build project is the only secure care treatment facility for all juveniles in the state. Renovating the original 1919 site, this new expansion holds 144 juveniles in “cottage-style” housing. The project includes six low-security cottages and one high-security male cottage. New construction also includes a new dining hall, warehouse facility, and support building with a male crisis management unit, clinic, and intake. An outdoor courtyard includes a picnic area, two basketball courts, and a soccer field.
