Kingwood Middle School

This two-phased effort delivers a new replacement school and clears the site for expanded academic and athletic use. The two-story facility serves more than 1,000 students and features double-height spaces that bring in natural light and create a sense of openness. Learning environments include classrooms, science and CTE labs, performing arts spaces, dining areas, and athletic facilities. The site supports a full range of sports, including track, football, and soccer. Inspired by Kingwood’s “Livable Forest,” the design blends indoor and outdoor spaces, encourages movement and collaboration, and improves traffic flow through optimized car and bus circulation.
