OU Freshmen Student Housing – McCasland Hall and South Hall

The University of Oklahoma’s new residence hall project replaced the Adams Center, which has served as a landmark since 1964. Both residences feature 560 beds for incoming freshmen in the heart of the campus. Other amenities include community lounge spaces, kitchenettes, music and study rooms, an on-site coffee shop, a convenience store, and multi-functional storm shelters to accommodate students and staff. This project is the start of the University of Oklahoma’s housing master plan, with a current plan to demolish and replace Walker and Couch Centers in future phases.
