St. Anthony Hospital Surgery Center

To meet the needs of a rapidly growing Denver community, St. Anthony Hospital expandedits ambulatory surgery capacity by creating a new outpatient surgery center in anunderutilized area of the hospital. The project relocatedseveral departments, to makewayfor fivenewoperating rooms, three endoscopy suites andprocedure rooms, 22prep/recovery/PACU bays, and supporting spaces, including a new elevator. Built on anactive, occupied campus with ORs directly above, the team worked around surgeryschedules, delivering a facility designed for efficiency, patient care, andimprovedstaffworkflow.
