PROJECT DETAILS

UT Austin Chilling Station #7

This design-build project delivers a 48,000 SF, 15,000-ton central chilling station, a 36,000-ton/hour thermal energy storage system with a 5.5-million-gallon tank, and a 13,000 SF cooling tower to serve the new Medical School District in downtown Austin. The team installs underground chilled water lines beneath an existing parking garage, excavates and constructs a vault room, and delivers chilled water to the campus ahead of schedule.
