UT Austin MER A-2 and B-2 Lab to Clean Room Conversion

The ISO Cleanroom Renovation transforms existing A-2 and B-2 laboratory spaces into eight ISO Level 5 cleanrooms to house chip manufacturing tools for a high-security semiconductor research facility serving the top five chip manufacturers in the United States. Selective demolition, precision environmental controls, and installation of chip manufacturing tools and supporting mechanical, electrical, and process systems create a controlled, purpose-built research environment. Security infrastructure throughout the facility reflects the sensitive nature of the operations, delivering a state-of-the-art cleanroom complex advancing revolutionary chip processes for the nation’s leading semiconductor manufacturers.
