Flintco Completes Bentonville Adult Recreation Center, Creating New Health and Wellness Destination for Residents 50 and Older

Jun 12 2026

Flintco, in partnership with the City of Bentonville and Hight-Jackson Architects, has completed the new Bentonville Adult Recreation Center (ARC). The new 45,000-square-foot facility is designed to support the health, wellness, and social engagement of Bentonville residents ages 50 and older.

“Bentonville made a deliberate investment in its 50+ residents with this facility. Access to fitness, wellness programming, and social spaces has real effects on healthy aging — and when that population thrives, the whole city benefits,” said Brent Farmer, Flintco Vice President and Area Manager.

The project expanded and renovated the former Downtown Activity Center, adding approximately 36,000 square feet to create a modern destination for recreation, wellness, and community connection. The two-story addition features a structural steel frame, brick façade, TPO roofing system, and rooftop mechanical equipment.

The first floor includes a lobby and lounge, a full-service café, locker rooms, multipurpose rooms, a flexible gymnasium for pickleball, volleyball, and badminton, and an indoor pool for fitness and recreational programming. The second floor features a fitness center, wellness studio, and three-lane indoor walking track.
