OSU-IT Student Housing

This complete interior and exterior renovation of two historic buildings in downtown Okmulgee included connecting the buildings – Okmulgee’s original post office, built in 1918, and the Barksdale Apartment Building, completed in 1919 – to expand their campus living space. The facility features 40 student bedrooms, common areas, laundry room, kitchen and elevator. Renovations included new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems as well as new windows, skylights, roof and masonry restoration work. The interior of the two buildings were completely renovated with new framing, drywall, ceiling, flooring and fixtures.
