New Rosenberg Public Services Complex to Centralize City Operations

May 13 2026

The City of Rosenberg is building the infrastructure to match its growth. City officials joined Flintco and Huitt-Zollars to break ground on the new City of Rosenberg Public Services Complex — a voter-approved, $24 million facility on Airport Road designed to centralize city operations and strengthen service delivery.

The complex will bring several essential departments together on a single campus: public works, utilities, parks, fleet maintenance, building maintenance, engineering, and capital projects. Consolidating these operations improves coordination, reduces inefficiencies, and provides city staff with the facilities they need to serve a growing community. The project is part of Rosenberg’s Capital Improvement Plan and reflects a long-term commitment to municipal infrastructure.

“As Rosenberg continues to grow, so does the need for infrastructure that supports the people and services driving that growth,” said Joel Lester, Vice President and Area Manager, Flintco. “This facility will help the city operate more efficiently while providing the foundation needed to serve the community well into the future.”

When complete, the complex will feature modern office space, covered storage for large equipment, and a centralized fleet maintenance and fueling station — operational upgrades that will improve day-to-day performance and service delivery for residents across the community.
