Albuquerque International Sunport Terminal Renovations

The Sunport, New Mexico’s largest airport, serves 5 million travelers a year and has a $1.9 billion economic impact on the Albuquerque metro area. The terminal renovation project targeted the ticketing and baggage claim areas with new seating and a new waiting area for shuttle customers. Other improvements include raised ceilings with faux skylight features, new ticket counters and improvement to the arrival and departure curbs. It had been nearly 30 years since any major upgrades had been done on this portion of the Sunport.
