PROJECT DETAILS

The First Americans Museum

The First Americans Museum serves as a living center for contemporary American Indian culture, reflecting the diverse heritage, histories, homelands, and values of Native peoples. The museum is situated on approximately 300 acres and welcomes visitors through the “Court of the Wind,” a circular entry plaza framed by 39 sculptural, tree-like pipes that resonate with the sound of the wind. The museum houses a distinctive collection of artifacts selected by Oklahoma tribes from the Smithsonian’s national collection.
