Levee Improvement District 2 Storm Water Pump Station

The Fort Bend County LID #2 Storm Water Pump Station protects the Sugar Land community from flooding by moving up to 1.3 million gallons of water per minute. Seven vertical pumps, supported by redundant power and monitoring systems, deliver reliable performance during severe weather events. Built to withstand demanding conditions, the facility strengthens regional flood control and safeguards homes, businesses, and critical infrastructure. The project includes a robust inlet structure, integrated electrical systems, and self-performed installation of major equipment, ensuring long-term reliability for a community that depends on it.
