Flintco Celebrates Grand Opening of Lakecrest Casino + Hotel in Ardmore, Oklahoma

Oklahoma City, OK – On May 7th, the ribbon was cut on the Lakecrest Casino + Hotel marking a significant milestone for the Ardmore community. Construction of the entertainment destination broke ground in June 2022, continuing Flintco’s legacy of partnering with the Chickasaw Nation to deliver community projects for more than two decades.

During the ceremony, Governor Bill Anoatubby highlighted the rich traditions of bravery, entrepreneurship, and community-building that define the Chickasaw Nation, including the substantial economic benefits the project has brought to the region. During construction alone, more than $44 million flowed into the economy and hundreds of jobs were created. Looking ahead, businesses in Ardmore and the surrounding area are projected to experience an estimated economic impact exceeding $300 million over the next five years.

“When we look at this property, we see more than the fun and entertainment, peace and relaxation with luxury accommodations. We see employment and the creation of hundreds of jobs; we see the positive impact on the economies of Ardmore in Carter County,” Governor Anoatubby said. “Most of all, we see the multitude of ways it will directly contribute to meeting our mission to enhance the overall quality of life of Chickasaw people, and positively impact other First Americans.”

The Lakecrest Casino + Hotel offers an array of amenities, including 89 luxurious rooms, an outdoor resort-style pool, state-of-the-art conference facilities, more than 1,000 cutting-edge gaming machines, and a RV park with 20 slips. Projected to employ over 400 individuals, the casino and hotel are anticipated to make a significant contribution of nearly $60 million annually to the local economy.

Lakecrest Casino + Hotel is not just a symbol of the Chickasaw Nation’s dedication to enhancing the overall quality of life, but also echoes Flintco’s Native heritage and values which emphasizes community sustainability, growth, and prosperity — principles that are embodied in this project. Like the Chickasaw Nation, Flintco believes in investing in our communities to stimulate economic vitality and growth and worked together with our trade partners, Frankfurt Short Bruza, and owners to deliver the Lakecrest Casino + Hotel project for the benefit of all involved.
